Six decades adding value to the Canarian economy
Quality
Many of the companies that make up the Capisa Group have been working with quality and environmental policies for years. These companies have experience in the optimization of processes and the application of quality policies, which are documented and are periodically reviewed.
With the creation of the Capisa Group, the challenge consists of studying strengths and weaknesses in this area company by company and beginning to design uniform quality procedures and, at the same time, adapt to the stage at which each firm stands with regard to the optimisation of processes and the formulation of quality policies that are governed by quality. For this reason, the Group has created a Quality Department that is equipped to work together with both the companies and the certifying bodies.
Those companies which have certified quality policies in force publish this fact on their Web Page so that the fact may be known and properly publicised. These companies are as follows: Capisa, Graneros de Tenerife, Grafusa and Molinera de Schamann. All of them have a Quality Management System implemented in accordance with the standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015, which extends to the design, distribution and sale of feedstuffs for animals in the first three and the manufacture and sale of flour in the case of the final two. Capisa is, also, certified under standard UNE-EN-ISO 1401:2015. Recently, in 2017, Progaten has been added to the IFS Food Regulations.
