Who we areThe Capisa Group is made up of companies with a long tradition in the Canary Islands, belonging to the cereal-growing and livestock-raising sector, which have pooled their strengths in order to be - through new synergies - more competitive and give a boost to the development of the Primary Sector.
Its activities are: the import of cereals, the manufacture and marketing of feedstuffs and raw materials for animal feeds, the manufacture and marketing of flour for bread making, the bakery industry and livestock production.
Mission,Vision & Objectives
MissionWorking for the development of a sustainable Industrial and Livestock sector. The training, innovation, quality and excellence in service as factors which give value to our products and which contribute to sustainability in the widest sense.
VisionTo be perceived in the marketplace as leaders and innovators in the manufacture of animal feeds and flour for human consumption; well-positioned livestock producers, as well as solid and competitive importers of cereals to the Canary Islands
ObjectivesTo grow in the marketplace, leading innovation in the manufacture of animal feeds and flour for human consumption. Increasing the livestock production, supplying knowledge to the Primary Sector. Contributing to the economic development of the Canary Islands.
Other aims of the Capisa GroupThe work of the Capisa Group is based on three fundamental pillars: the knowledge of the reality of the food and agriculture sector, the technical capacity of its installations and a human team where training is essential. These strengths make it possible to market products in perfect condition - largely prepared thanks to our own research and development programmes in collaboration with Canarian universities and national companies- and distribute and market them at a competitive price.
Among the fundamental values of the Capisa Group, our vocation of constantly transferring knowledge of all kinds to the Primary Sector. The technical staff of the Capisa Group are trained to advise on livestock feeds, systems of production and animal health, which contributes to increasing the results and, in consequence, to consolidating the customer base.

Another business principle that makes the Capisa Group stand out is its orientation towards encouraging competition in local production with overseas products both in feedstuffs for animals and in the marketing of eggs, meat, milk and derivatives. The main idea is to limit the negative impact of the distance of the Canary Islands from the Continent of Europe as much as possible. Thus the Capisa Group works so that local livestock obtains higher and higher levels of supply from the regional market. For this purpose, from the organisation, a boost is given to measures in the field of innovation in knowledge, technologies and equipment, so as to make it one of the identifying features of the primary sector of the Islands.
Finally, the Capisa Group is aware that the result of its effort has an effect on Canarian consumers. It is the greatest priority of the group companies that all their work should be oriented towards supplying maximum health benefits in their products. The traceability of raw materials and industrial processes are watched over by nutritionists, vets and experts on the flour sector in the tiniest detail with a view to the final objective, which is to contribute by working together to the quality of life of Canarian families.
Who we areGrupo Capisa is a business union of Canarian capital dedicated to the agribusiness sector and the commercialization of feed and raw materials for animal feed, meat products and cereals, and flours intended for human consumption. Founded in 2014, Grupo Capisa is, essentially, a managerial, administrative and managerial structure created to optimize resources, production and quality for a group of companies with the same shareholding, but with their own personality and objectives.
